Guided activities

Day 1 - Departure to Saaremaa, Muhu island, Angla Windmills, Sauna evening

The departure time might change +/- 2 hours.

We depart early in the morning and head west to catch the ferry to Saaremaa. The voyage lasts only 30 min – you can enjoy the views on the deck, or have a meal at the cafe on board. Upon arrival, we start discovering the islands. Our first stop is Muhu island. We check the authentic Koguva village, which is one of the most outstanding examples of Estonian peasant architecture.

We continue towards Saaremaa to see the famous Angla Windmills, where our visit also includes lunch in a local tavern. After lunch, we take the course towards our accommodation place in Pidula, making a few stops at the picturesque places - Panga cliff and Odalätsi springs.

Arrival at our accommodation and check-in. We end the day with a sauna! There will also be a possibility to BBQ.

Day 2 - Exploring Saaremaa: Sõrve lighthouse, visiting Kuressaare, Bog hike (optional)

Today we explore the nature of Saaremaa – we drive around to see the most beautiful parts of the island. We visit  Saaremaa`s southernmost part – Sõrve peninsula, where you can walk on a very narrow spit of land going into the Baltic Sea and see Latvia in the distance.

We continue the day with a visit to Kuressaare - the capital of Saaremaa.  We start with an orientation walk in the town centre, followed by free time for lunch. Possibility to visit the Kuressaare fortress on your own (extra cost).

In the afternoon, you can join the optional Bog hike. We will put on special bog-shoes that allow us to walk straight on the bog surface without any tracks and reach places that would otherwise be inaccessible.

Time to have a nice dinner together! Later, you can visit the indoor sauna complex, relax and enjoy your time!

Day 3 - Exploring Saaremaa: Harilaid hike, Kaali crater, journey home

Today is devoted to hiking - pack some lunch and snacks to go!

Wonderful coastal nature of the Harilaid Peninsula awaits discovery! We take an easy track along the forest and the coastline. The longer trail leads you to the unique Kiipsaare Lighthouse.

On the way to the harbour, we make a stop at the mystical Kaali meteorite crater and have a walk around the area.

We take an evening ferry back to the mainland and head towards home.

Arrival home late evening.

We hope you gathered memories of a lifetime!

If you need to book a transfer flight, train, bus or ferry, from your arrival point, we recommend selecting only departures at least 2 hours after the estimated arrival time.
