Our student department organizes budget-friendly youth travel in Scandinavia, and Lapland and is a helpful hand & long-term partner for the Nordic, Scandinavian, and Finnish universities in their travel portfolio. Our international team is on a mission to take Finnish and Scandinavian tourism global. They work extensively with Visit Finland & Sweden & Norway and Denmark and help global B2B companies with their travel portfolios. 2006

Company Aikamatkat Oy-Timetravels founded in Tampere, Finland. First it offered tours to Russia for international students and Finnish people.

2008
Business transfer with Zerkalo Oy - a legendary company, which started organizing alternative, underground tours to Russia for young people in 1999.
The first tour to Lapland organized.
2009
A chartered football train to Moscow - with over 300 Finnish fans aboard.
Launching a tailor-made online sales platform.
2010

Lapland becomes the most popular destination.

2011
Co-operation agreement with ESN Finland signed.
Business transfer of Bair Travels Oy - which was specialized in cultural, historical, and student travel to Russia. As a result of this transaction, Timetravels got an office in the city center of Helsinki.
2012
Co-operation agreement with ESN Latvia.
2013

Project “Asian Incoming” and "Sport tours for Ice Hockey and Volleyball events" is launched.

2014
First commercial groups from China.
IIHF2014 games in Minsk.
Over 1000 Finnish fans in Katowice, Poland (Volleyball World championship games).
2015
Cross-company educational program in launched - with a focus in project and process management, teamwork and customer service.
Tours to Norway and Iceland launched.
2016

Opening of the first daughter company "Timetravels Incoming Ltd" to handle increasing amounts of Chinese tourists.

2017

Opening the second daughter company and office in Kaunas, Lithuania "Timetravels BALTIJA UAB".

2018
Investments in own accommodation and activity production in Lapland.
Co-operation agreement with ESN Lithuania.
2019
Business transfer with Scanbalt Experience Oü.
Opening a 3rd daughter company "Timetravels Estonia Oü".
Co-operation agreement with ESN Norway, ESN Denmark.
Opening a partner office in Guangzhou, China.
Launched Grand Lapland and Magic Lapland cross Scandinavia tours.
Records-breaking autumn season.

COVID pandemic, working with improvements and partners.

Recovering the operations.
