Join us on an adventure through the famous Norwegian fjords! You will see a truly unique landscape - mighty fjords surrounded by majestic snow-covered mountain peaks, wild waterfalls, and lush green vegetation. The fjord area is a great playground for those who are keen on outdoor activities, as well as for those who just love nature and picturesque sceneries. Hike the glacier, sail through the fjords, explore Bergen and discover the pure beauty of tiny fjord villages.

We will arrive to Bergen city center where you can have free time. Check the UNESCO-protected Bryggen, Bergen's old waterfront where the Hanseatic traders once lived and worked or take a cable-car ride with Fløibanen. Your tour guide will give you extra tips what to do in Bergen.
If you are interested in hiking bus will take you to Mount Ulriken where we will hike with the tour guide. After the hike the bus will pick you up and take you to the city center. The exact hiking route depends on the weather conditions. Depending on the route, the hike will take from 2-3 hours.

With a total area of more than 480km square kilometers, Jostedal Glacier consists of many "arms", and one of the most beautiful is Nigardsbreen. We are going to get instructions and all the needed equipment and then start the glacier hike with our guide.
Important notes for Glacier Hiking:
- The participants should be reasonably sure-footed. For people without any hiking experience on mountain trails, the trip can be a bit tiring.
- Please, make sure to have: lunch, a hat, and gloves, warm clothing including a rain jacket, wool underlayers, waterproof trousers, hiking shoes/boots with good soles, a camera, water bottle, and sunglasses.
The activity includes transportation, experienced outdoor guides, and the rental of glacier equipment.
The glacier moves according to weather conditions year by year. Thus, the approach to the glacier is either by 1-2 hr hike or by boat, depending on the weather conditions.
Important! The activity is possible only for adults: at least 18 years old on activity day.
NOTE: if the activity is not possible due to weather conditions, a compensation will be offered. Please note that the number of spots in this activity is limited.

The fjord cruise starts from Flåm and ends in Gudvangen or the other way...
Make yourself comfortable in the boat and prepare for one of the most beautiful fjord landscapes in the world, listed in the UNESCO World Heritage list! The tour will start in the cute village of Gudvangen and the vessel will take you to Nærøyfjord, named by many as the most beautiful fjord in Norway.
Most of the time you will be surrounded by snowy walls of the fjords and pristine nature. Stunned by the beauty of the fjords, don't forget to look after the waterfalls! You arrive at Flåm, one of the most picturesque villages in Norway, and have a bit of free time. The vessels are a brand-new standard in design and technology and are environmentally friendly. They have been designed to maximise the tourist experience during any kind of weather, with large windows and walkways inspired by the winding trails of steep mountain terrain.

Meals
In order to keep trip prices as low as possible, all accommodations are self-catering – meals are not included. Each accommodation has good cooking facilities. Kitchens are equipped with plates, glasses, mugs, a 2-ring electric hob, water boiler, coffee machine, and toaster.
Meals are not included, but we stop on the way to your destination to buy groceries. You can, for instance, decide with your accommodation group what you are going to cook together and share the groceries and costs.

Glacier hike (optional)
07:00 We depart for the glacier hike. To bring: lunch, hat, and gloves, warm clothing including a rain jacket, woolen underlayers, waterproof trousers, hiking shoes/boots with a good sole, camera, water bottle, sunglasses.

Day 3Sat 03.10
Day trip to Bergen (optional)
07:30 We depart towards Bergen by bus. Pack your snack, water and whatever you need for the day.
11:30 Arrival time in Bergen.
We will drive to Bergen, where you will have the opportunity to hike to Mount Fløyen and enjoy spectacular panoramic views over the city and surrounding fjords. Depending on the chosen route, the hike takes approximately 2–3 hours. After the hike, you will return to the city center on the Fløibanen funicular (included in the day trip price). Afterwards, enjoy free time in Bergen. Visit the UNESCO-listed Bryggen, stroll along the waterfront, or explore the city's cafés, shops, and attractions. Your tour guide will be happy to provide additional recommendations for your visit.
18:00 Departure from Fløibanen.
On the way back will stop at Tvindefossen waterfall.
21:00 Estimated arrival time back to Lærdal.
If you stay in Lærdal, you can have a free day there.
Day 4Sun 04.10
Fjord cruise (optional), Departure home
07:30 Check out and make sure all is clean and looks the same as when you walked in. Pack your lunch and everything you need till your arrival home. Put your luggage on the bus.

Travel along Norway’s longest and deepest fjord: the Sognefjord, also known as the “King of the Fjords”. On board, you can enjoy the views through panoramic windows in the lounge, or go out on to the large sun deck for an invigorating experience at the very “heart” of Fjord Norway.
Those who don't go on the ferry cruise continue to Flåm. There is a possibility to do a nice hike to Brekkefossen Raokjen waterfall.

In Norway, you can pay only with Norwegian kronas, but credit cards are widely accepted and there is no need to hold any cash. Be prepared that Norwegian prices are high and if you travel from another country, it could be better to pack some food with you.
Extra activities that are still available during the trip are paid in Euro.
Norway trips have focus on outdoor activities, and you will be walking a lot during the day. Nature is rocky and sometimes you will need to climb small hills to get nice views. Our tour managers are trying to choose easier levels of trails to fit most of our passengers, but if your physical level is very low, you might get very tired in the evening. It is important to have proper clothing as the weather can change quickly - from sunshine to pouring rain and strong wind. If you prefer to wear soft sneakers, your feet would hurt form rocky uneven surface, and get easily wet. This might make the hikes less enjoyable.
