12:30-13:50 Ferry Ystad-Rønne

First stop on Bornholm island is the capital Rønne. We will meet a local guide at the harbour and have a Rønne city tour. We will visit the town's old medieval quarters, the church, Rønne Theatre, the bomb houses, gardens, a 19th century ceramics factory (Hjorths Fabrik, admission fee required if you want to go inside) and Erichsens Gård (exterior view only). The guide will describe the town's history over a period of roughly 1000 years, from the early medieval period up to the present.

After the city tour we will head to our accommodation - a hostel in the city.

In the evening free time to explore the charming capital of Bornholm with its historic old town, colourful houses, local museums, seaside promenades, and artisan workshops. Your tour guide will give you tips on what to do and where to go.

Day 2Sat 10.10
Northwestern coastline, Boat ride with historic wooden ship (optional)

Today we will discover northwestern Bornholm island with its rocky coast, castle ruins and picturesque towns.

On the day tour we visit the beautiful town Gudhjem, visit one of the island's 3 castle ruins - Hammershus Castle Ruins and walk in Hammerknuden coastal area where you can see dramatic cliffs and sea views. Our guide will tell us the history and stories of every place. Along the way you will get to know the most important historical places. You will also learn about life on Bornholm nowadays.

Boat trip with historic wooden ship (optional activity)

A boat trip with the historic passenger boat M/S Thor from Gudhjem harbour along the rocky coast to Helligdomsklipperne. During the boat trip the skipper will tell you about the sights, as well as legendary stories from the Viking Age.

After that we will head to Dueodde. It is a famous beach area on the southern tip of the Danish island of Bornholm, known for its exceptionally fine white sand, large dunes, clear Baltic Sea water, and scenic coastline. It is one of Denmark's most popular beaches.

In the afternoon we head back to our accommodation.

Day 3Sun 11.10
Hiking and return home

Morning check out.

After breakfast we depart to discover more of the island.

We will go to Almindingen Forest - one of Denmark’s largest forests in the heart of Bornholm. Enjoy peaceful walking trails, cycling routes, and beautiful nature spots, including the scenic Rytterknægten viewpoint with panoramic views across the island. The forest is also home to lakes, wildlife, and the mysterious Ekkodalen echo valley. It takes 2-3 hours.
