At the destination the activities cost +5€ except for the activities, which were not on sale online.

DAY 1 – Departure day

The departure time might change +/- 2 hours.

You will select the exact departure place from the available one, when booking the trip.

10:30 Departure from Göteborg, Clarion Post Hotel, Drottningtorget 10.

15:00 Meeting in Oslo, Bunks at Rode hostel, Københavngata 10.

Check-in at the hostel. If the rooms are not ready yet, you can leave your luggage in the hotel luggage room.

Free time to discover Oslo. Your tour guide will help you with tips on what to do.

DAY 2 – Oslo city tour (optional), Borgund stave church

08:45 Check out from the rooms and put luggage on the bus.

09:00-12:00 Oslo guided walking city tour including the famous Vigeland Park starts from the hostel (optional activity).

11:00 Check-out time from the hostel if you don't join the optional city tour.

12:30 Meeting at the hostel for those who don't join the city tour.

Departure towards the fjord area.

On the way we will make a supermarket stop and visit the famous Borgund Stave Church (outside visit).

20:00 Estimated arrival time to Luster - Luster Fjordhytter accommodation. Our accommodation is located right next to a mighty fjord. You can even go swimming in the evening. You can cook dinner in your cabin or use the barbeque outside.

DAY 3 – Glacier hike (optional), High-speed boat ride (optional)

09:00 We depart for the glacier hike (optional activity). To bring: lunch, hat and gloves, warm clothes, including a rain jacket, woolen underlayers (depends on the weather), waterproof trousers, hiking shoes/boots with a good sole, camera, water bottle, sunglasses.

16:00 Estimated arrival time back to the accommodation

  • 10:00 If you don't join the glacier hike, you can join the high-speed boat ride in Luster (optional activity). You will be divided into groups. Your tour guide will give you more info about exact timings. A minumum of 5 participants is required.

If you have not booked the activities, you can rent equipment in Luster or hike around the area. Luster camping offers water equipment to rent: rowing boats. Note that the rental is at your own responsibility and not a supervised activity. Make sure to use a lifejacket!

Possible to book sauna at extra cost. Take a bathing suit and an extra towel for the sauna with you.

DAY 4 – Fuglesteg hike (optional), Bergen

08:30 Check out and make sure everything is clean and looks the same as when you walked in. Pack your lunch and everything you need until Bergen. Put your big luggage on the bus.

09:00 Fuglesteg hike (optional activity)

Hike to check out Fuglesteg's old farmhouse from 1650s. In Fuglesteg (translated: "The bird's path") you'll find a restored mountain farm with the buildings built in stone from the area (outside visit). There is also a nice view down to Skjolden and the mountain farm Gjerseggi. Check information about the hiking track and farmhouse here. The hike duration is approximately 3,5-4 hours (8 km).

The weather can be challenging, so please bring warm clothes including a hat and gloves, a rain jacket, woolen underlayers, waterproof trousers, hiking shoes/boots, a camera and sunglasses. Also please pack some snacks and a water bottle with you.

14:00 We depart towards Bergen and make a stop at Tvindefossen waterfall on the way. 

19:30 Estimated arrival time to Bergen. Hostel accommodation in Bergen city center.

DAY 5 – Ulriken hike (optional) Fjord cruise (optional), Departure back home

08:15 Check out from the hostel for those who go to hike. Put your luggage on the bus.

08:30 Ulriken mountain hike with one-way cable car ride (optional activity)

Our bus will take you up to the mountain - Mount Ulriken where we will hike with the tour guide. The exact hiking route depends on the weather conditions. Depending on the route, the hike will take around 3 hours. After the hike Ulriken cable car will take you down to the city center.
Weather can be challenging, so please bring warm clothes including a hat and gloves, a rain jacket, woolen underlayers, waterproof trousers, hiking shoes/boots, a camera and sunglasses. Also please pack some snacks and a water bottle with you.

If you are not interested in hiking, you will have free time to explore Bergen. Check the UNESCO-protected Bryggen, Bergen's old waterfront where the Hanseatic traders once lived and worked. Also think of visiting Bergen University Museum - Natural History and Bergen Aquarium.

11:00 Check-out from the hostel for those who don't join the hike. 

11:30 Departure from Bergen to Gudvangen.

14:30-16:30 Gudvangen - Flåm cruise on Nærøyfjord (optional activity)

If you don't join the cruise, you will have free time there to explore Flåm. You can hike to the nice Brekkefossen waterfall.

17:00 Departure back home.

23:00 Estimated arrival time in Oslo.

DAY 6 – Arrival

Should you need to book a transfer after the trip, please, consider only departure

- 4 hours after the expected arrival time for train/ferry/bus ticket;

- 6 hours after the expected arrival time for flight tickets

03:00 Estimated arrival time in Göteborg.

Important! The accommodations have different standard beds according to availability: double beds, bunk beds, pull-out sofas and loft beds. 

Sleeping bag is not allowed!

The final cleaning or damage repair is not included. In case the accommodation is not in the same conditions as when you arrived, a 250€ fee will be charged.
