To keep trip prices as low as possible, all cottages are self-catering—breakfast, lunch, and dinner are not included.

You can decide with your accommodation group what to cook together and share the groceries and costs. Please note that ovens are not available in every accommodation, so avoid buying items like frozen pizzas, chicken, or other foods that require baking.
Grocery shopping tip: We recommend doing all your shopping during the stop on the way to the destination. Groceries stored in the bus’s luggage compartment will not freeze unless the temperature drops below -35°C. Cooking together with your roommates can save you quite a bit of money.
Don’t forget to pack at least the following:
-
Warm clothes – temperatures can get extremely low.
-
Swimsuit and towel – unless you plan to try it the traditional Scandinavian way (without a swimsuit)!
-
Personal essentials – such as money, medications, etc.
-
Student card – if you have one.
-
Credit card – required for booking extra activities; cash is not accepted at the destination.
-
Small pillow or neck cushion – for added comfort during the bus trip.
-
Flip-flops – essential for Arctic swimming or stepping into the snow after sauna. You don’t want cold feet!
-
Eye drops – if you wear contact lenses. Contacts are recommended over glasses, which tend to fog up in the cold.
-
Bed linen set (bed sheet, mattress cover, and pillowcase) – If you don’t bring your own, you’ll need to rent a set for approximately €25 per trip.
We choose North Lapland as the location for our main destinations because it typically receives snowfall as early as October. However, weather conditions are beyond our control. In the unlikely event that there isn't enough snow for activities that require it, we will either offer alternative options or provide a full refund for the cancelled activities. Activities that do not depend on snow are usually always available.
The spring semester is generally more enjoyable, as it offers more snow and longer daylight hours. Due to its popularity, trip prices are slightly higher during this period. If you have the flexibility to choose, we recommend traveling in February, March, or early April.
During the autumn semester, there is a slight risk of limited snow. In addition, shorter daylight hours may affect the schedule—for example, requiring earlier starts in the morning.
