We are happy to welcome you onboard the Pirates of the Baltic Sea! The most epic and unforgettable cruise experience on the Baltic Sea - the 28th Voyage. We are calling you to hoist the masts and sail from Helsinki to Stockholm! Experience two nights full of fun and partying with fellow international students in the beautiful archipelago and one day of visiting Stockholm. Travel documents! To join the trip you must have a valid passport or European IDcard* in original copy. If you have a residence permit in the EU, you must bring it too in original copy.
*driver's license is NOT an accepted document for travel.
If you want to stay in one cabin with your friends (max 4 persons), make one booking, choose Economy, Standard, Promenade or premium cabin and add everyone's information to the booking.
If you choose "Spot in a random cabin" you can NOT choose who you are staying with even with same booking.
When booking with your friends, you can choose the cabin class: economy, standard, promenade or premium. NOTE! You need to make one booking together with your friends in order to be in the same cabin.
You can also choose to book a single ticket in a random cabin.

You are responsible for your own travel to the harbor, contact your ESN section about possible group transfers!
We recommend travellers have insurance that covers cancellations due to sickness and accidents.
If you do not have one, from your user account you can add Health Insurance until 8 days before the trip departure.

NOTE! You cannot board the ship with food/drinks. The security will check everyones' bags at boarding and any food/drink can be confiscated!

Ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki
NOTE! The ferry from Tallinn arrives in West Terminal in Helsinki and you need to go to Olympia Terminal on your own.

12:00–15:00 Boarding the ship at Olympia terminal in Helsinki. You will receive an email with the exact boarding time.
There is a security check at the terminal; you cannot bring any opened bottles or alcohol onboard. In addition, to guarantee a peaceful stay for the other passengers onboard the ship, speakers are not allowed on board. They will be confiscated.
17:00 The ship departs to Stockholm
First, we have a warm welcome show to start off the cruise!
There is an all you can eat and drink buffet for everybody included in the price on the first night. You will know the exact time for your buffet at the latest at the harbor.

9:30 Arrival to Stockholm, Värtahamnen terminal.

16:00 Boarding gate closes, you must be onboard the ship before this time.
16:45 The ship departs to Helsinki
On both nights there is party and music playing until early morning hours.

If you chose Tallinn as your departure point:
Ferry from Helsinki West Terminal to Tallinn
You may not bring any alcohol to the boat. There is going to be a security check at the terminal for all participants and any alcohol found will be confiscated and you might be left in the harbor.
You will receive an email saying what time you should be at the harbor or the place your bus departs from. As we are a huge group, we recommend that you board on time and follow the instructions from the PoBS team.

Economy cabin (for 4 people): Windowless 4-person cabins on deck 2 with adjustable beds. Engine noise may occur.
Economy cabin (for 3 people): Windowless 3-person cabins on deck 2 without adjustable beds. Engine noise may occur.
Standard cabin (for 4 people): Windowless 4-person cabins on decks 5 and 9-11 with convertible beds.
Promenade cabin (for 4 people): High-quality 4-person cabins on decks 8-11 with Promenade views. Includes a TV and adjustable beds.
Premium cabin (for 4 people): High-quality 4 person cabins on decks 5 and 8-11 with sea views. Includes a TV and adjustable beds.
NOTE! If you book an individual ticket, you will not be able to choose who you are sharing the cabin with!
Yes, it is.
Only non-alcoholic beverages are allowed to drink throughout the boat. The bars are open until 4.00 (Finnish time) and the prices are student-friendly. Alcohol purchased from the bars should not be drunk in the cabin hallways.
Smoking is allowed only on the restricted areas.
The dinner is a buffet and there are several dishes available, also vegetarian ones. Lactose and gluten free options should be clearly indicated on the descriptions next to each dish. If you have other food restrictions and you’re unsure of what you can eat or not, don’t hesitate to ask the local restaurant staff for help!
During your day in Stockholm, you keep your cabin and can leave the luggage there. Please note that neither the ferry company, ESN Finland nor Timetravels takes responsibility for any valuables left in the cabins.
